NEW AB 100 YACHT: REFINED STYLE AND UNPARALLELED COMFORT

AB Yacht introduces its new luxury vessel: the AB 100 yacht, designed for unparalleled comfort, space and performance. At first sight you will be immediately fascinated by its unrivalled style and rare elegance.

FIRST CHOICE MATERIALS

To design AB 100 yacht, the builder chose the most performing and refined materials of its generation, particularly for their astonishing lightness and unique style. Then the boat evokes an amazing sensation of exclusivity at first sight and unrivalled refinement, painted in two tones of metallic grey that enhance its aggressive lines.

In terms of performances, the AB 100 yacht has nothing to envy to its competitors because it is equipped with 3 MAN engines each with 1900hp that allow achieving a top-speed of 54 knots while remaining comfortable and stable. Concerning its interior, the yacht is remarkable through its outdoor and indoor spaces and offer everything you could possibly wish for in terms of comfort and design.

BRIGHT AND ELEGANT INTERIOR

AB 100 yacht indoor and outdoor spaces have been specially designed for passenger’s comfort and represent the same refinement than its external appearance. The main saloon with bright grey tones is illuminated by natural light through the huge windows placed all over the yacht, offering a sublime chromatic contrast. This room is divided with a lounge space with large sofa and 75“ screen and a dining space with an impressive marble table for eight.

AB 100 yacht’s helm is finished in grey leather and incorporates all the latest technologies available on market to ease manoeuvres and warranty a safe and simple navigation.

The lower deck on AB 100 yacht understands 2 guest cabins, 1 VIP cabin as well as the main cabin, each with its own bathroom. The main cabin is located amidships and is truly remarkable by its size and equipment. It owns a large walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a shower for two persons, all of that decorated with the same luminous grey tones, enhanced by touches of colour delicately provided by table lamps. Then, for a maximum of intimacy, the staff spaces are accessible by a separated access and accommodate a modern galley, two double cabins and another bathroom.

To conclude, AB 100 yacht’s exteriors have been arranged to ensure a multitude of unforgettable moments at fresh air. As comfortable as indoor spaces, they offer a large variety of L and U shaped sofas and daybeds to rest at any time, coffee tables to drink a cocktail under the sunlight and all necessary domestic equipment for exterior spaces. Then the stern garage has been built in a “beach house” way to improve a little more passengers’ comfort and entertainment. Another proof that AB 100 yacht doesn’t have any default to deplore!

The Indian Empress, one of the largest yachts in the world available for charter

The 311.68ft /95m Custom Motor Yacht 'Indian Empress' was delivered from Oceanco in 2000 and underwent a superb and comprehensive interior refit by Mark Berryman design in 2015. Previously named ‘Al Mirqab’, the luxury yacht also possesses the sophisticated exterior styling and engineering of The A Group.

Featuring all of the charms typically associated with Dutch craftsmanship, Indian Empress is every bit the entertainer- from the numerous sunbathing spots to spacious social spaces and a sizeable movie theatre, guests are sure to enjoy only the finest of luxury charter vacations. What’s more, the complete interior refit on all four decks in 2015 has meant that all of the available space is both stylish and functional.

 Exterior Design

Motivated by the desire to create timeless aesthetics which cohere entirely with the engineering of a given superyacht, The A Group have ensured that Indian Empress possesses a striking profile without compromising an inch when it comes to her overall function. Indeed, with an abundance of sun loungers, long al fresco buffet bars, and a massive sundeck designed for entertaining, charter guests are able to enjoy themselves in the sun whilst appreciating all of the aesthetically impressive details of Indian Empress. During her refit, the spa pool at the aft end of the owner’s deck was replaced by a bespoke table which seats up to 24 guests, a decision which ultimately enables for a greater social experience when chartering the yacht. What’s more, the helideck which originally occupied space on the upper aft deck has been converted into a spacious outdoor lounge complete with a fully stocked bar- the perfect spot for enjoying a cocktail whilst looking out across the ocean.

Interior Design

Originally designed for a member of the Qatari royal family, Indian Empress possessed a distinctly Arabic elegance which her new owner has brought into the modern age by refitting her with more neutral and contemporary tones and furnishings. Chief among the new additions to Indian Empress is the Yamaha Disklavier piano which once belonged to none other than Elton John. Taking pride of place in the main salon, the unique feature is no doubt best enjoyed whilst entertaining guests or unwinding after a day on the water. Carried out in the Turkship shipyard Turquoise Yachts, the extensive interior refit has also graced the upper salon with a range of satin woods and pale colours which work to effectively accentuate the volume of superyacht Indian Empress. Expertly integrated with the original wood panelling, the introduction of limed oak and walnut has been carefully applied in order to complement the artwork by Picasso and Husain which adorns the walls. Divided by slats to create dedicated areas without entirely closing off the interior, the layout of Indian Empress remains completely spacious and convenient for charter guests to navigate. The waterfalls on either side of the bar in the upper salon, for instance, create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor social spaces.

Accommodation

Sleeping up to 12 guests with an attendant and discreetly positioned crew of 33, Indian Empress offers six double berthed cabins on the main deck and five twin berths on the lower deck. For the principal charterer, there’s a generously sized master’s cabin which comes with a displaced study allowing for any necessary business to be to carried out in a highly contemporary environment. The bedroom itself includes a retractable television screen which, when lowered, allows guests to look out on the ocean through floor to ceiling windows- no doubt the best sight to wake up to. At night, or indeed at any other time of the day, electric blackout blinds can be lowered for some truly undisturbed rest. Consistent with the ulta-contemporary aesthetic found elsewhere on board, each of the guest suites are furnished with engaging works of art and light woods to create entirely inviting spaces.

Leisure & Entertainment

Featuring a comprehensive spa area, an impressive collection of towable water toys, and an assortment of gym equipment, there’s something for every guest to enjoy. Complete with plenty of cinema seating, her home movie theatre creates an authentic atmosphere for enjoying a blockbuster or two following a day out in the sun. Also equipped for diving, Indian Empress provides guests with the opportunity to get properly acquainted with the marine life surrounding her charter grounds.

Special Features

Featuring a sumptuous ‘Gentleman’s Lounge’ inspired by classic cigar lounges, and a richly  elegant library, Indian Empress manages to effortlessly imbue classic charm into her wholly modern aesthetic. What’s more, the sheer amount of space available on the exterior is truly unrivalled, and makes effective use of every inch of room.

Performance

As a custom displacement yacht, Indian Empress  is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother, more enjoyable cruising experience. She features ‘at anchor stabilisers’ which work at zero speed to increase onboard comfort at-anchor and on rough waters. With a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed of 25 knots and a range of 6nm from her 564,000litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect blend of performance and luxury.

Why Charter Indian Empress

As one of the largest superyachts available for charter, Indian Empress is ideal for both parties and families looking to experience the very best in both design and function. With a wealth of opportunities which span from the adventurous to the truly relaxing, she fuses style with substance to ensure a charter vacation unlike any other. Indeed, by dividing the interior and exterior into multiple dedicated spaces, Indian Empress accounts for every kind of charterer- whether it’s getting together for an evening of cocktails or sunning themselves in quiet, guests can be confident that their every desire will be comfortably met.

THE LUXURY SAIL YACHT HEMISPHERE

Launched in 2011 and built by Pendennis Shipyard , the 44m luxury yacht Hemisphere is one of the largest sailing catamarans in the world. Pendennis partnered with leading multihull naval architects Van Peteghem Lauriot Prévost (VPLP) – designers of the 33rd America’s Cup winning multihull.

A Groundbreaking Vessel

Celebrated superyacht interior designers Michael Leach Design and the entire team behind the build have pooled their respective talents and expertise to accomplish the execution of this groundbreaking vessel. The result is an innovative design brimming with creatively practical features that blend speed and stability with both space and style to encompass the pure essence of innovation in the multihull market.

With a draft of just over 3m (9.8ft), Hemisphere ensures ease of manoeuvrability and the scope to cruise shallow draft destinations inaccessible to monohulls of comparable size. Decks and rig are remarkably uncluttered as visible deck hardware has been minimised and the 58m (190ft) high mast soars free of spreaders with all lines run internally. Tenders are also stowed out of sight and the port transom houses a full watersports and dive locker served by a large hydraulic swim platform.

High Degree of Luxury

Destined for the luxury charter market in tropical climates, Hemisphere boasts a spacious flybridge with jacuzzi, sunpads and shaded dining along with a vast indoor/outdoor living area on the main deck. The extraordinary beam provides vast deck spaces offering every conceivable comfort, from alfresco dining to sunset bars, and from a spa pool with a view to direct access to the water.

Michael Leach Design’s relaxed, elegant interior is the epitome of contemporary chic and the yacht’s exceptional volume offers a high degree of luxury without a trace of glitz. Dark wood floors are offset by a soothing neutral colour palette with innumerable customised touches such as seventeen different types of granite and sixteen leather finishes, creating an ‘island living meets deluxe Pacific Rim ambience’.

Bathed in light, warm in tone and completely unconventional, Hemisphere’s interior and exterior spaces are typical of the yacht’s general attitude: flowing and relaxed, social and informal. The award-winning interior combines 18 types of leather and 15 different types of stone in a style attuned to Polynesian six-star luxury. From the vast saloon with its distinctive zones, to the cinema room and the highly individual guest suites, her sumptuous beach chic feel creates the ultimate retreat.

Accommodation for 12 guests is arranged in 5 comfortable ensuite cabins and the yacht will operate with a professional crew of 10. The inviting and contemporary guest cabins include two VIP suites on the main deck, each with access to the forward terrace. Perfect as individual suites, they can also be combined to create one immense master cabin.

Sensational views greet guests at every turn, not just from the exterior decks and the spectacular spa pool on the flying bridge, but also from the split-level saloon – 100 square metres of outstanding design that has a raised seating area offering a panorama of the ocean.

The luxury Sail Yacht Hemisphere is available for charter with Burgess, one of the superyacht industry leader.
